New Features!
Heatmaps

  • A new feature is now available in PestScan! With the new heatmaps you can instantly see where on the map the most activity has been in recent months. The heatmaps can be found in the map overview in both the office environment as well as in the customer portal.
    The new feature has just been released, so there may still be some minor bugs. Please let us know so that we can further fine-tune this new feature!

IPM Trend Reports

  • Further improvements have been made to the IPM Trend reports. Some translations have been improved and more data is now shown.
    This is also a new feature that we would like to continue improving. Please share your suggestions and feedback with our helpdesk!

Improvements in Document Management

With this update, document management has been significantly improved.

  • Folder structure: users can now create folders and place documents within them, making it easier to organize documents in a clear way.

  • Hierarchy: folders can contain subfolders, allowing for a complete folder structure.

  • Manual sorting: documents can be manually sorted according to individual preferences.

  • Visibility: the existing option to hide documents from customers remains available.

  • Wide application: the new folder structure and sorting options are available in all places where documents are used, including the customer portal.


Other Adjustments
Visit Reports

  • Report header and footer can now also include the work order ID. This can be set under general settings, then the visit report tab.

Customer Portal

  • From now on, the alarm status of the work order is also shown in the overview of a work order. This was previously missing.

Standard Texts

  • Editing standard texts has been improved again. When you want to edit a text, this is now possible via a pop-up. This makes it more clear and user-friendly.

Calendar

  • The employee filter in the calendar has been further improved. The layout has been designed to be clearer. The functionality of the options has also been fine-tuned. No duplicate filters can be enabled anymore.

Work Orders

  • If the execution date of a work order is changed via a time registration, this change is now also correctly reflected in the visit report to be sent afterwards. This was previously a bug.

  • Date formatting has also been improved in both the visit report and the email of the visit report. From now on, everyone receives the date format according to their language. Please let us know if you experience otherwise!

  • It is now also possible in the office environment to schedule follow-up visits for a Job. Open the Job and at the bottom of the page you will find this button.

  • The ability to copy work orders and Jobs can now be disabled for all users in the office environment. This can be done under other settings at the global level.

  • The report header of the visit report is now also available in the BPCA Style format.

Technical Developments
Digital Traps

  • Our Digital Traps API has been upgraded. From now on, everyone can connect with us in the same way. With the proper documentation available, we make it possible to connect with many parties. Are you interested in an integration or do you already use digital traps that are not yet connected to PestScan? Please contact our helpdesk so we can arrange this!

Integration with Lexware

  • Further improvements have been made to the integration with LexWare Office. The integration will now go into review at LexWare Office to obtain approval for an official partnership.

Performance

  • As always, we work hard to keep the software running at a high level. In this version, we have again made improvements. The customer search page has been optimized so that results should now appear faster when you search for a specific customer.

Security

  • Technical improvements have been made to our software, specifically regarding security. Unfortunately, we cannot provide too many details for security reasons. But we want to assure you that we do not lose sight of this important aspect!

  • In the password reset email, the login link is now also included so it cannot be lost.

  • From now on, the button to request a new password is always visible on the login page.

  • It is now possible to assign zero roles to an employee. In that case, the employee will not have access to the portal.

Other Bug Fixes

  • Labels of checkpoints can now be up to 50 characters long. Previously, they were truncated at 10 characters in some places. This was a bug.

  • On the time registration report page, it was not possible to create new time registrations. This is now possible again.

  • Moving recommendations on maps in the office environment can now be performed and saved again. Error message has been resolved.

  • In specific cases, editing observations in the work order gave an error message. This problem has been solved.

  • The number of observations was not always displayed correctly in the tab on the work order page. Notes are no longer included in the count.

  • On the statistics page in the customer portal, the selected data is no longer reset when another report is chosen via the quick buttons.

  • In the calendar’s drag-and-drop functionality, items no longer disappear. This bug has been fixed.
