In this major release, several significant new features and improvements have been introduced. The most important additions are the Plan of Action, Improvements to Contact Persons, and New Statistical Graphs in the Customer Portal.
In addition to these major updates, several smaller enhancements and bug fixes have also been implemented. All details are described below.
New Features
Plan of Action
With this release, we introduce a completely new reporting feature: the Plan of Action.
This allows you to offer a structured plan to your customers directly from the office portal. Once published, the plan becomes available in the customer portal, where your customer can review and approve it using a digital signature.
Please note that once the document has been published, it can no longer be edited.
When creating a new version, the content of the previous plan will automatically be copied. A plan of action typically includes the following sections:
Introduction
Identified Risks
Increased Pest Pressure
Strategies (including comments)
Floorplans
Recommendations
Upcoming Visits
Improvements to Contact Persons
To improve usability and consistency, the Contact Persons module has been enhanced.
As more and more notifications are sent to different recipients within PestScan, this new setup ensures that users can easily manage who receives visit reports, notifications for upcoming visits, and other alerts that will be added soon.
This change eliminates the need to manually copy and paste email addresses into different fields. Instead, users can now create reusable contact person records “on the fly.”
During this release, a migration script has been executed to transfer all existing email addresses to new or existing contact person entries.
New Graphs in the Customer Portal Statistics Page
The Statistics page in the customer portal now includes two new graph types:
Catches vs Activity
Activity vs Recommendations
Catches vs Activity
This graph shows two lines: the number of catches over time and the percentage of pest activity during the same period. It helps users identify correlations between pest activity and the number of catches.
Activity vs Recommendations
This graph displays the percentage of pest activity and the number of recommendations over time. It allows users to see whether an increase in activity leads to more recommendations.
Smaller Improvements
In addition to the major updates, several smaller improvements have been implemented:
The Reader role in the office portal has been improved. This role can no longer view employee information or edit suppliers.
The Employee page interface has been redesigned with tabs for a clearer overview of settings.
In the Workorder section, you can now define the Target Pest Type, which will later be used in reports.
The Time Registration Report now displays the creation date and time for each workorder.
The field “Comment for next visit” is now visible in the office portal under the Contract tab of each location.
When creating a new customer, you can now specify the Customer Type: Business, Private, or Not supplied.
The “False triggered” status has been added to events from TrapLinked.
Several bugs in the Enterprise module have been fixed.
Various other bug fixes have been implemented.
