This release introduces our new Route Optimization feature, which will replace the previous route optimization module. If you currently use the old route optimization tool, you can run both the old and the new version side by side during the transition. All customers can try the new feature free for one month. Just reach out to our support department if you'd like to give it a go.


About Route Optimization

 With the new Route Optimization, you can: 

  • Optimize per day — automatically determine the most efficient route based on each technician's starting location.
  • Leverage historical Google traffic data — routes are calculated using real-world traffic patterns, so planning reflects how the day actually looks on the road.
  • Respect fixed visits — appointments that must stay on a specific time or technician are honored during optimization.
  • Add buffer time between visits — configure slack between jobs for a more realistic, less rushed schedule.
  • Reassign visits across technicians — when enabled, visits can be moved to a different technician if that produces a more efficient overall plan.
  • Follow each employee's work schedule — optimization automatically respects the working hours configured per technician.

Minor features

Target Pest Type per service

You can now optionally specify a Pest Type on each service in Location Services. When set, the pest type is automatically included on every work order generated from that service, so technicians see the intended target the moment they open the work order. Leave the field empty if a service isn't tied to a specific pest.


Preferred visit day for "X times per year" recurrence 

The "X times per year" recurrence pattern now supports a Preferred visit day. All work orders planned from this recurrence will be created on the selected visit day. If the service is linked to a route, the field is pre-filled with that route's standard visit day — so recurring services automatically follow the route's planning rhythm without any extra setup.


Bug Fixes

This release also includes several small bug fixes and stability improvements, including:

  • Customer portal visit view — resolved error warnings that could appear when opening certain visits in the customer portal.
  • "Created by" field in the Recommendations management report — the Created by field was previously left empty in the recommendations management report. It now correctly shows the employee name.
