This release brings significant improvements to the Recommendations module, including automatic due date calculation and a new weekly overdue notification email. Work order notifications have been expanded so technicians and their managers are automatically kept informed of new assignments and changes. The release also adds new fields to Management Reports and includes a set of targeted permission adjustments for the Operation User role. Below you will find an overview of the key changes included in this release.
Recommendations
When creating a new recommendation, the due date is now automatically calculated based on the selected priority. An administrator can configure the number of days per priority level under General settings > Recommendations. When a priority is selected — whether in the mobile app or the Office Portal — the due date is filled in automatically. The date remains fully editable at any time, including after the recommendation has been saved.
A new weekly email notification can now be enabled per location to keep contact persons informed about overdue recommendations. The setting "Send email reminder for overdue recommendations" is available on the location's Order tab and is off by default. When enabled, the configured contact persons receive a single consolidated email every Monday morning listing all recommendations with the status In Progress or Rejected that have exceeded their due date. The email includes a table with the following columns: ID, Location Name, Area, Category, Recommendation, Create Date, Status, and Priority. If there are no overdue recommendations for a location, no email is sent.
Work Order Notifications
The system can now automatically send email notifications to an assigned technician and their line manager when a work order is created, the assigned technician is changed, or the planned date is modified. Notifications are controlled by two settings that must both be enabled: the Receive notifications toggle on the employee record, and the Send email notification toggle on the visit type. If either is disabled, no notification is sent. Routing is time-aware: during branch opening hours the notification goes to the technician and their line manager; outside opening hours, a dedicated address is also notified. This out-of-hours address is configurable per branch on the My Company page.
Management Reports
Two additional columns have been added to the Recommendations report in Management Reports: the name of the user who made the most recent change to a recommendation, and the comment that was entered alongside that change. This gives managers a clearer view of a recommendation's history without having to open each record individually.
Operation User
Several permission adjustments have been made to the Operation User role. This role can now save the entire location address tab directly, and the separate save button that was previously shown for this page has been removed. The role can also now place checkpoints on floor plans. Additionally, the edit work order button in the calendar context menu is no longer visible for this role.
Bug Fixes
- Work orders that are marked as hidden for the customer no longer trigger an email notification.
