Modified on Mon, 15 May, 2023 at 5:47 PM

Our new planning module has a lot of possibilities and flexibility. This will really help your business get an efficient planning, but it might also be a bit confusing to start with. In this article you will have a step by step guide on how to use the planning module efficiently.

Step 1: Setting up the customer

First we will set up our customer settings. Go to the customer of your choosing, and go to the location.

  1. Click 'Contract'
  2. Click 'Services'
  3. Click 'Add new service'

Step 2: Adding a new service

  1. Fill in the fields as needed. Make sure to at least fill in the 'Header' field, the 'Task' field (this will be visible in the app as well) and to choose a technician.
  2. Add a new recurrence as shown in the video below. Set the recurrence for this service.
  3. Save

The planning is always planned per year, however you can limit by setting the begin and end date. You can reuse services next year!

Step 3: Creating the planning

  1. In the menu on the left, click 'Plan Work'
  2. Then in the menu that appears, choose 'Create Planning'
  3. Click 'New' to create a new planning
  4. A planning set will open
  5. Fill in the top fields 'Description' and 'Details'

In the planning set you can add services like the one we just created. You can create multiple planning sets. For example: create a plannings set for every type of subscription you offer to your clients.

This is how to add services to the planning:

  1. Fill in the customer name or the location name or the route code
  2. Click 'Find'
  3. Click on the service of your choosing
  4. Click 'Add'

Repeat this for every service you would like to add.

Step 4: Generating the planning

  1. In the right bottom corner, click on the button 'Save & Next'
  2. For every service a planning is suggested
  3. You can drag the planned visits to another date if necessary
  4. Click 'Generate' to generate the planning.
  5. Now the workorders for all planned visits are ready to go!
